destroyed trapezoidal nut thread during assembly process
Hi,
I don't know how but I have somehow damaged trapezoidal nut thread. Do you know how I can get new one? I have friend with 3d printer maybe you know where I can find model for this part?
I'm talking about this part:
Thanks
Re: destroyed trapezoidal nut thread during assembly process
I can not see from your photo that the nut is defective, but I can see that you have mounted the nut upside down.
The trapezoidal nut may be defective already at delivery, because it requires a lot of violence to destroy it.
Contact Prusa chat so maybe they will send you a new nut. Making a new self is not a good idea.

Thank you for the reply. The nut it self is ok but the thread is defective. It doesn't go smoothly like the second one :~(.
Ok I will write to them. Thank you.
5 BD for a spare part, prusa have really great support 🙂

If you want to try and print one for temporary use until your replacement comes in, I have had good luck with this one printed in PLA.
Re: destroyed trapezoidal nut thread during assembly process
Hi Richard - I've used exactly this one and it works like a charm (I've managed to assemble everything on yesterday) 🙂
Today I've received new set from prusa and I must say I'm positivle shocked how fast they are working. I though i will receive it on friday so in the next 4 days. Really impressive work. I want to say once again PRUSA is awsome 🙂 Thank you all for helping.

Your nuts are upside down it seems to me. That is not meant as an insult.;-)
