Doesn't look too bad, it may go away with time and heat if you put that side face down on the bed while printing.

Otherwise, you'll get a faster reply if you use the "live chat" feature in the store; email is pretty backlogged. Make sure you are signed in and have disabled any third party script blocking extensions as that can prevent it from showing.

I had a similar issue with my assembled printer. There are a few spots on both sides. I contacted them as you did and we traded a few emails where I sent them pics and they offered to send me a replacement.

As the marks are at the outer edges and outside most of my prints I opted to let them wait and send it with my MMU. They finally just shipped me a new sheet as the MMU is still waiting 🙁

As far as going away with heat, my marks are not as bad as that one and after probably 1000 hours of printing mine have not reduced at all.

Interesting since it looks similar to marks you can get from normal use (though smaller, in this case likely from a nozzle crash). The normal use ones will go away with time, but I guess if it was a hot nozzle it would have actually melted the sheet and caused incorrigible damage.

Yes, wasn't accusing you if it sounded that way. I have no idea what their QA regimen is for printbeds, but it's not hard to imagine a test print of some kind as part of the process.

Though I've also had a few similar dings like that on mine when a small blob of plastic got under the sheet; those did go away with time.

Do you guys think it's even anything worth worrying about? I assumed it could/would cause issues with prints. Also with it being so far off to the side perhaps it is not worth wasting my time or theirs over something that may simply be cosmetic.

It's not so much the plastic as the adhesive under it; it softens with temperature and the magnets are very strong, so if you get a scrap of plastic between the bed and the sheet, it will conform to it as the adhesive migrates around. The sheet itself is pretty durable unless you start going at it with sharp tools or fail to prepare it properly with some materials (PETG, flex, etc)

Interestingly one of mine is directly under where the head was parked for shipping. There was a piece of foam between the head and sheet and the head was well zip tied in place so I don't know how it could have happened during shipping. That's what it looked like though.

No explanation of the other marks though (one more on that side and 3 on the other).

It looks small enough that it is not going to cause a print to fail, but you will have that mark imprinted onto the bottom of anything that prints on top of it.

Ultimately if it is worth it for you can only be decided by you. My view was that I paid for a 210x250 print area so I want to be able to get clean prints from that whole area.

Other than the delay related to time zones it was a no hassle operation from my perspective. They simply sent me a new sheet at no cost and they didn't want the damaged one back.

My intent early on was to use the new sheet for normal printing and save the "bad one" for back up or use it when I moved into PETG and TPU so their treatments wouldn't mean extra work prepping for a PLA print. By the time it showed up, however, I found that I don't print much at the extreme edges so I haven't switched plates. This weekend was the first time I printed over one of the spots, but the print failed due to other reasons (I think I need to level the printer better as layers in one extreme corner are clearly more squished than in the opposite corner).

Well seems I am having another electrical issue which needs attention, so I just made note of the dented bed when I contacted them for that. If they replace the print sheet, cool... otherwise I'm not going to worry about it.
