Defective Idler part, help?

Just received my MK3 kit and the idler printed part was defective. Spoke to chat and basically told me to fix it myself.
Is there anyone in the Bay Area that can help out by printing the part?
I’m in 94947, but willing to travel a bit to get it. Really disappointed in the support that is supposed to be so good.

Sounds like The bondtech trap door

Is there a Library with 3d print capabilities or a hack space or maker space near you?

They may be able to help

Depending on the break, you might be able to do a temporary fix with a soldering iron and PETG filament to weld the piece back together. I had to do that with a few parts that snapped during assembly. Once the printer was up and running, the "fixed" parts were replaced with freshly printed replacements.
