Calibration failed . Check the axes and run again
De selftest of my Prusa went through the fans and the bedheating and the hotend, so far so good. X-axe and Y-axe, ok.
With the z-axe it goes wrong. I tried several heights of the probe.
Then the LCD-screens says: Calibration failed . Check de axes and run again.
What can I check about the axes?
RE: Calibration failed . Check the axes and run again
I had the frame positioned in the wrong direction (silly , I know). And I fixed it when mounting the power supply. So I removed the The Z axis (the threaded and the smooth) I removed the motor supports, changed the long and short extrusions. Than I have put the z-motorblocks to the other side.
Is it possible that something went wrong at that stage?
Is it a question of tolerances?
RE: Calibration failed . Check the axes and run again
I managed to do the calibration succesfully. But first I brought the X-axe to his highest position by hand. Printer off and turning the threaded rods until X-axe reaches the top.
