Buzzing sound from LCD display assembly

Hey,

Have an MK3S which is working very well but I have one annoying problem - the LCD assembly rattles during fast X axis movements. This doesn't surprise me given that a lot of things clip in rather than being screwed in. Now, I could go around stuffing it with foam or something but I'm wondering if someone else is having this problem and has come up with a less hack solution. Any takers?

RE: Buzzing sound from LCD display assembly

Mine does this too, where the display sits against the board, judicious use of a hot melt glue gun was enough to silence it, but that now has shown another rattle where the front fascia sits against the outside of the display, I am going to look for some thin adhesive felt to put round the inside to stop this or print a tpu mask to go over the metal part of the display, then I'm sure I will find the next rattle 😀

Normal people believe that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain’t broke, it doesn’t have enough features yet.

A few have said you can adjust the LCD so it doesn't touch the fascia. Or add a bit of foam tape to the fasia above the LCD so the LCD touches the tape rather than the case.

The root issue is the LCD is held on only one side, not both, so it can flex and buzz and rattle against the orange case.
