brand new mk3 TPU oozing

Hello,

Just bought a brand new mk3 and results are awesome except for TPU.
Everything went pretty smoothly when building printer and calibrating.
Here is a picture that worked perfectly with PET from prusa website:

Here is what i get with TPU also from prusa website:

I have played with retractation settings under slicer, temperature, and "avoid crossing perimeters" with not much success.
I have 2 "old" tpu filaments from fffworld (flexismart) that gives almost the exact same oozing issue. But i was hopping filament from prusa website to print perfectly 😉

What else can i try ?

Thanks for your help.
Benoit.

Re: brand new mk3 TPU oozing

Hi,

I tested my new I3 MK3 with TPU, bought from LAY3RS in the Netherlands.
The results are amazing, but I have to say that I first upgraded my printer with the enhanced cooling parts
for the extruder. This is a perfect improvement for printing FLEX materials.

Second I use the PEI sheet with scotch blue tape, otherwise it will be very difficult to remove the part after
cleaning the PEI sheet with Isopropyl alcohol.

After this, If you still facing the stringing problem first lower the temperature!!!
Heated bed should not exceed 60 degrees.

Happy printing!

Best,
