Blower fan making strange revving noise on new build

Hi,
Put together my kit last night SD card Gcode looked good. I redid cable management a couple times and it's looking pretty nice.
But now my front print fan is kinda "revving" during printing - almost like it's going on and off and on and off every couple of seconds. I'm on the 3.2.0 RC2 firmware, printing from SD with Prusa Grey, buddy gcode, fan at 255 (100%). According to the RPM monitor the noctua fan is pegged at 4200 and the print fan varies between 4000 and 4200rpm. The sound is more like rushing air than the fan itself.

Loose connection maybe? Ideas?

Maybe the noise modulation comes just from how the air blows across the model. AFAIK the Buddy G-code uses cubic infill whose pockets possibly work like small whistles or pipes, depending on the XY position of the nozzle and the major print direction, of course. For cubic infill the noise modulation might be just stronger than for other infill types.
