Beginner With Prusa i3 Printer - Emmanuel Katto Uganda

Hey everyone, I am Emmanuel Katto. I'm a beginner with my Prusa i3 printer and I'm having trouble achieving consistent layer adhesion on my prints. I've tried adjusting the temperature, bed leveling, and retraction settings, but I still get occasional peeling and warping. Has anyone else experienced this issue? What settings or techniques have you found to be most effective in achieving smooth, bubble-free prints? Are there any specific print settings or materials that work better than others for minimizing layer adhesion issues?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

Emmanuel Katto

Hello Emmanuel, Welcome here in 3d printers world.
About your message. You now placed in a sub-forum about Prusalink. Please move/copy your message to a sub-forum about the Prusamodel you own. Then more people will see it.

When you do, please also answer these questions:
- Type model of your printer. The more information the easier to give an advice.
- Describe the problem(s) in detail.

As an advice to start with: concentrate on the first layer adhesion. That has to be OK, before anything else will work.
Set all other settings to default (as suggested by the Prusa profiles for printer, filament etcetera. (if you change more parameters, you will never know what solves an issue and what causes new ones)). Keep it simple at first.
read the manual about how the change the first layer on your printer. And tell us about your experiences.

We will do what we have always done. We will find hope in the impossible.
