After upgrade, Noise from filament feeder a few minutes into print
Hi,
I recently upgraded my print head to use the new "dyson" fan mount.
After the upgrade, everything appears to be working well except for a noise from the filament feeder (that once resulted in a failed print due to filament jam - which later resumed and succeeded after reloading filament).
A few minutes into a print job, the gears that feed the filament make a relatively loud noise whenever the filament is backed up. This noise does not occur when the print first starts. This noise did not occur before upgrading to the new dyson fan mount parts.
I've tried loosening the feeder bolts (on the top of the print head). I've also tried loosening the tensioner (spring loaded) bolts, but no difference.
Also, I've noticed it can be much harder to "unload" the filament than it was before the upgrade.
Anybody else see this sort of thing?
Thanks,
Dan
