2nd print newbie question, Print gunked up and knocked aside
Hi all, My second print ever. Super exciting!
The first print I did came out fine. (around 3”square)
I printed the second one that is about 4”x 2”x8 inches tall
The supports started to look a little gunky in the beginning and then by the time it got to the top I think the gunk caught on the sculpture and moved it.
Things that changed since first print:
-Temperature in room dropped to 60 degrees
-This was a used unit. So I had to do a little maintenance:
I had to replace the Idler in the mmu (It was cracked and didn’t feed properly)-I took out the printer nozzle. Then I put it back in with the tiny gap above it. cleaned it after with a needle.
Could any of these changes have caused the problem?
Oh and BTW if you click on the last pic you can see the gunk on top which cause the failure (I think)
