Err.: MINTEMP BED
Hy,
my printer show´s me the following text : Err.: MINTEMP BED.
- I,ve checked all the pin connections from the thermistor - OK
- I,ve checked the wires for any outside damages - OK
- I,ve checked the heatbed thermistor head - OK
- I,ve changed the thermistor sockets from heatbed to hotend an back - no difference
The next step is to change the heatbed thermistor - i,ve ordered someone [100k]
Does it make sence to change also the hotend thermistor??
Or do you have any other solution?
Thank you
Re: Err.: MINTEMP BED
What is the room temperature?
if it's lower than 16 Centigrade, simply warming the printer might be sufficient,
if the print bed temperature is low when the extruder is at room temperature, and the bed temperature indication doesn't change if you warm the bed with say a hair drier, it is likely that there is an issue with the thermistor, thermistor cable , einsy board or thermistor connector
if it's never worked, is the connector in the correct socket.
the extruder thermistor is a different type of thermistor, so it's probably a waste of time replacing it at the same time. the extruder thermistor replacement involves breaking down the extruder cable bundle, and re assembling it.
this could lead to additional problems on reassembly...
what might be a good idea, is replacing the heat bed power wires with flexible silicone insulated wires to preempt flex fractures of the power wires.

Re: Err.: MINTEMP BED
I had this very issue and it was due to poor connectivity with the ed Thermister. I had to replace it due to a broken wire.

Re: Err.: MINTEMP BED
Hello,
the room temperature is higher than 20 degrees the whole day.
I checked the connections - the connector is in the correct socket.
Ok i check the heat bed power cables....
Re: Err.: MINTEMP BED
I had good connections also but my wire broke at the area of flex as it met the bed. I tested continuity and it failed so I replaced it.

I,ve changed the bed thermistor and now.... everything is OK!
The printer work´s better than a new one 😛

I would suspect that you have continuity issue. I had the same issue. I never confirmed where the break was 100% but I cut the wire and confirmed that from one end of the wire to the other that there was a break.
