Syringe pump extruder : disable PINDA and calibrate Z in another way
Hello everyone,
I am currently modifying a Prusa MK2S to fit a syringe pump extruder (see: 2018 Pusch, Large volume syringe pump extruder for desktop 3D printers). I had to design a new X carriage to hold the nozzle. Unfortuantely the PINDA probe is not compatible wit this setup, as the nozzle prints into a chemical solution. I would like to disable entirely the PINDA probe and do the Z calibration in another way (maybe with a endstop?).
Could anyone give me pointers on how to do that in the firmware and how to add an endstop to the 3D printer ?
Thank you !

Hey there,
I'm currently trying to do the same with my Anycubic Mega Pro & with only 2 weeks until my thesis is due, I'm struggling to get a result haha
Did you have any luck? How'd you do it if so?
Cheers! 🙂
Michael

Just a suggesting but to save messing with really expensive printer, there some really cheap alternatives.
