Z-axis 1 rod has a slight wobble

Is it normal that one of my z-axis motors came with a threaded rod that wobbles slightly? It sometimes hit the top guard.

Is there any way to fix this, or perhaps i've done something wrong? I didn't drop it or damage it from the box.

I just assembled the printer yesterday, and at the moment I don't think it is affecting my prints.

Any advice?

I would check to see if you have it level. Get a cheap level and make sure the Z-Axis rod is as perfectly straight vertical as you can. Pick a point like the Z-Axis frame to take your measurements. My printer had as slight wobble and It turned out to be the top guard was off not the motor or rod, Take the time to measure and triple check that everything is as square as possible. Perhaps try loosening the motor and straighten and tighten the motor and the top guard. I found the best tool to put together the printer was a set of calipers

If the z-axis rod was not straight, my prints would show it.

The rods seem to be fine - and the left z motor and threading show no signs of any movement. The right thread does though - it wobbles a bit from center to the right corner of the top bracket when moving up and down. If I move the z axis up near to the top, the threaded rod gets closer to centre. As the carriage moves down, the threaded rod starts to move towards the right, the wobble on the rod is more prevalent about 3/4's of the way down to the bed.

Not sure what I need to be measuring. Calibration shows everything is perfect and perpendicular.

I saw someone else here had a similar issue with with the far z-axis motor and threaded rod on the forums. Not sure what the resolution to their problem was.

You can even see a similar behaviour on Tom Sanladerers review (Look at the left rod on the video):

Mine does the same thing.
