Y axis slight misalignment
Now that I am using anti vibration feet I have been pretty much printing 24x7 the past couple of weeks. Last night I noticed the y axis is very slightly misaligned by about 1mm based on looking from top while checking heatbed grid lines. My first thought was that I should really realign the frame but the thing is, I'm getting the best prints I have ever been right now and don't want to mess up a good thing. I printed T. rex and base etc and it is absolutely perfect.
Given this, should I still loosen m10 nuts and try to make it align perfectly even though my prints come out perfectly? Or should I just ignore and wait until I notice an issue with the prints? With my luck I feel like I'll just make things worse if I try to realign.
Re: Y axis slight misalignment
I have been printing for a few days now, possibly with very slight misalignment.
I think whether you should fix this depends on the purpose of models you print, whether any fitting is required, etc. I printed this model http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1489606 , and I could feel a very slight wobble on one of the bins.
I don't know enough to say if a slight imprecision can have a perceptible impact on aesthetic model.
My own personal opinion is that you should try to fix it after a few more happy prints ! I have printed seven one cm sized cubes to get to the current stage. Fixing each stage has given me a strong sense of satisfaction. This community is also knowledgeable & very helpful.
Happy printing!

Hi
I think I am with Shree in that I would fix it, but only because it would annoy me...
What you do is entirely up to you!

Re: Y axis slight misalignment
My OCD would take over and I would have to fix it.
