Y Axis Issues?
Been having a problem with my prints shifting upon the y-axis. This problem did not arise until last week, when I stopped a print and the y-axis crashed into the front of the frame, where the belt popped off from the loop underneath the bed. I have since replaced it and gotten the printer working again, but now there is an issue with a drifting on the y axis with my prints.
I have re calibrated the bed, checked the screws on the y axis motor, made sure the pulley was in place, and made sure everthing was screwed into place.
However, none of these options have worked, and the prints still have this weird gradual shift to them (leaning towards the front of the printer) and it's regular enough that they can fit into eachother.
Thank you in advance for your help I'm reaching my wit's end.
Additionally, the y-axis now makes a loud noise when it pulls back at the start of a print, but I am unsure if that is related to the problem.
Re: Y Axis Issues?
you could try checking the Y-Axis belt alignment and tension,
Also try running Self-Test from the printer and see what it comes up with.
