Y and X-axis stepper motors overheating
I just finished assembling my Prusa i3 MK2S and printed the Adalinda dragon. During the 7 hour print, the X and Y stepper motors got really hot (I could only touch it for 2-3 seconds). The print came out beautifully, with no skipped steps, but I'm afraid I'm damaging the motors. The extruder motor and Z-axis were only warm.
What is causing this increase in temperature? Do I have to lower the voltage on the stepper drivers?

Hello Jack!
I think you are alright - my stepper motors are also very hot. The motors get hot by intense operation and they draw current all the time when they operate or are standing still (fixing position).
