Would anyone be willing to do a video tutorial for the assembly?

Hi guys,

I know it's a lot to ask but would anyone be willing to do a video tutorial/recording of the assembly for the Prusa i3 MK2?

Thank you

I doubt that will happen any time soon. I think the manuals are rather good and I don't think Josef currently has the time to produce what would turn out to be a rather lengthy video.

Actually, I do think the manuals can be much more specific than video.

+1, the step for step manuals are great!

Im planning to do a time lapse of me assembling my MK2 next week, a video would be pretty long and boring as mentioned.
But I might record it as well and see if its possible to mix the timelapse with some video where there are difficult parts during assembly..

Me on 3dhubs!

I would love (others too, I'm sure) to see a video of the y-axis assembly.

Re: Would anyone be willing to do a video tutorial for the assembly?

I actually recorded the whole assembly process and I'm in the process of getting all of the videos up. I've got the X, Y, Z, and extruder up so far. I have no 3D printer experience and no youtube experience so I basically suck at both so far. I'll continue to record/stream as I start printing new objects and testing different materials. So far I have the printer built, I've gone through calibration, and printed the PRUSA logo from the SD card (took me a few tries and some tweaking).

I'm hoping to find some time this weekend to annotate the videos with some things that caused me issues. The videos are all at 10x speed, you can slow them down via youtube some if you want to see something specific. Feel free to ask questions in the comments and I'll do my best to answer. The manual and the comments are extremely helpful and I'd def suggest starting there if you're looking for answers.

Feel free to drop by and I'll answer whatever questions I can.

I still have all the full length normal speed videos. I certainly didn't get the best angle (its all aerial view) for showing the details of exactly what I was doing, but I can grab certain sections and post them at normal speed with annotations if there is something in particular you have questions about. Just send me a private message here or comment on the video about what you'd like to see and I'll do my best.
