Where to buy hot end thermistor?

I think my hot end thermistor might be damaged and getting support from PR is a little slow. Replacing just the thermistor should be low cost enough that I don't mind buying it just to try. I can't seem to find it anywhere though?

I haven't received my MK2 yet, but I like to have spare parts on hand. I ordered a thermistor, heater cartridge and silicon socks for the extruder from Filastruder. But you should be able to order from anyone that carries E3d hotends and parts.

I have been waiting for Prusa, to resolve my 'Dead on Arrival', Thermistor, mine is the small bead thermistor, not the cartridge thermistor...

You could go to the E3D website and order a thermistor for the V6 hot end from there

or you could buy these
like I did.

That 3950 is the wrong type (should be a Semitec), so you may get incorrect readings...

You should change the configuration and recompile the firmware for that thermistor.

The correct thermistor cartridge is here: http://e3d-online.com/Electrical/Components/Thermistor-Cartridge and the bead thermistor here: http://e3d-online.com/Electrical/Components/100k-Ohm-NTC-Thermistor-Semitec
