Thickening the wall of an object

Is it possible to thicken the walls of printed items? I want to tap some holes for screws so would prefer a thicker wall to ensure it retains its strength.

Thanks

Mick

Increase bottom or top layers. Increase number of perimeters. Use modifier meshes.

You will need to search how to do the modifier meshes as it takes a little bit of messing around but well worth the effort.

Many thanks Lee, I will look into that.

I want to print with nylon 12 but I cant see it in the materials list. Is it named as a different material, or will the printer not print nylon?

Many thanks.

I have not printed nylon yet but will at some point so can't help much with the settings but a good start will be the Taulman bridge filament as I believe this is a type of nylon. Not sure how this would compare to nylon 12.
