strange issue with consistency

We printed out three planetary gears using PLA filament, in the order from right to left. Both the left and right one work perfectly, but for the center one, it can be seen that it is actually slanted. The movable parts in the slanted area are all sticked together and are not able to move at all.
This is a very strange issue. It cannot come from the filament as the first one is using the same filament, and it cannot be the calibration as the last one is printed using the same setting. Any suggestions?

Re: strange issue with consistency

My guess is your X-gantry became misaligned. Since there are two Z motors to push that gantry up and down, if they are not run evenly, you will get a slope like this across your print. Since it seemed to happen during the print (the first layer was good?) I am guessing that one of the X motors is skipping steps for some reason. Make sure they are both equally free to move, and crash the gantry up against the stops (like at the beginning of a Z calibration) to make sure they are both aligned.
