Stop Print slams Z-Axis to Bed

Ok, not sure if this has been noted anywhere, but I think there is a bug in the firmware.

I started a print from SD and decided to cancel the print before it started. So during the calibration process, I stopped the print process through the LCD and suddenly the Z-axis slams the nozzle into the bed. I had to turn off power in order to stop it. After that, I had to go through calibration again to get it working correctly.

I believe this may be an issue that the firmware is allowing the stop print to bypass what the calibration is doing. So basically the printer sends the signal to stop but also has an open action to move the printhead in a specific direction. Just my luck when the stop print command was sent, it had just sent the command to lower the Z-axis and never got a signal to stop the Z-axis.

Hi,

I had the exaxct same issue yesterday with my brand new mk2s. There's already a topic about this issue: http://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/prusa-i3-kit-building-calibrating-first-print-main-f6/stop-print-destroyed-print-bed-t3557.html

Cheers,
Pierre
