Selling print bed?

Hi,

I'm considering buying a second print bed (i3 MK2) without PEI sheet, but the shop is out of stock, and possibly unable to sell without the PEI sheet already installed.

I'm wondering is if someone has damaged the PEI sheet and just bought a new heat bed assembly instead of going through the process of removing the old PEI sheet and fitting a new one.

If so, I'd be happy to buy a used heat bed with damaged PEI sheet so I can cover it in Build-Tak for polycarbonate printing.

Let me know if you have one lying around, please. 🙂

Try contacting support via e-mail or chat, you can probably make a custom order for a bed.

I had a chat with Prusa support before starting this thread.

Sounds like they have no beds, but they have PEI sheets.

I guess that's what’s causing the longer lead time for printer orders at the moment.

They have no beds in stock, and it's not clear to me if it will ever be possible to order a bed without the PEI already stuck to it.
