SCAD for LCD Cover to Git Repo?
Any chance we can get the SCAD files for the LCD Cover uploaded to the git repo? I noticed everything is present but the LCD which I was hoping to tweak a bit.
Thank You!

Hi Pyr3x,
The SCAD files does not seems to be on the github, but you can use the STL files that are present for the LCD cover: https://github.com/prusa3d/Orignal-Prusa-i3/tree/MK2/Printed-Parts/stl
I'm like Jon Snow, I know nothing.

Yeah they are man, you are one level too low.

I have to admit that my answer was not crystal clear 🙂
The file you are looking for is this one: https://github.com/prusa3d/Orignal-Prusa-i3/blob/MK2/Printed-Parts/stl/LCD_cover.stl
There is no SCAD version for this very one, but you can use the stl to make your customisation.

Re: SCAD for LCD Cover to Git Repo?
Me again! Been trying to get back to tinkering with the stl file but it's pretty riddled with issues and I wanted to import it into openscad for editing but it won't render due to issues in the model. So scad was used to create all the parts but the display?

They just haven't uploaded the SCAD file to the repo yet, but I've posted a link to it somewhere on this forum. If you search my posts for "lcd cover" you should be able to find it.

I do see that it is missing, but I did remake the STL for the LCD cover in TinkerCAD here.
and an 8 inch (200mm) or greater caliper is recommended.
