Prints not Sticking to bed

Hi
I purchased and built a Prusa i3 Mk2 Kit from Prusa Research it took 9 weeks for delivery but i was so excited until
i tried well over a dozen prints now with the supplied Silver PLA and not one of them have finished due to not sticking to bed.
tried cleaning bed surface with Isopropyl Alcohol, windex, and using nothing, glue stick that was supplied, Hair spary all with bed cold.
I have tried lowering bed temps and also raising bed temps.
Today i tried and printed the V2 Calibration.gcode 6 times none of them stuck.
did notice the first 35mm was at .38mm thickness and the rest was .28mm thick.
checked nozzel it's not blocked.
ran a 100mm test on nozzel and printer only fed in 95mm.
the nozzel has crashed into the bed a few times but was always set at 1mm fron PINDA.
after 4 days of trying i am at a loss why this is happening.
all the videos i have watched the print has to be scraped off the bed i would much rather do that then have them break away from the bed.

any more hints would be great as i have no idea whats going on.
Thanks
Darryl

Re: Prints not Sticking to bed

if my version of v2 calibration is corrcect, then the z height is 0.15mm
If the filament is laying down at .38 and .28mm thickness, it would appear that your live Z height is too great, is it perhaps a positive number at the moment?

try making the live 'Z' setting a greater negative number
you adjust the bed - extruder gap by moving the extruder up or down, in software... positive live z values are making the extruder further away from the bed,
negative livez values are making the extruder closer to the bed.

Hope this helps,

Joan

Re: Prints not Sticking to bed

I had problems with prints not sticking, and started wiping with Acetone instead of IPA.
This completely solved my problems.

Even PLA just oozing out of the nozzle during filament change now sticks to the bed.

Forget Isopropyl and use Acetone. Its cheap, you need very little, and it realy realy makes a difference.
