Printer freezes halfway and constant asking for calibrating
I printed for 3 days without a problem, but suddenly somewhere yesterday evening the problems came to my printer
For some reason after some good prints, i've got some experiences with the printer stopping halfway the print, but keeps the temperature of the extruder and the heatbed on. And i dont know what the cause is
I've tried recalibrating the XYZ agian but for some reason it asks me for every print to do so, instead of only the 9 spots on the printbed
So i dont know what i've done wrong... Any advice or tips?
Re: Printer freezes halfway and constant asking for calibrating
Did you run V2Calibration.gcode after XYZ calibration?
Re: Printer freezes halfway and constant asking for calibrating
1) freezing - this happens if printer not receiving any commands
Things to check:
problems with SD card reading
or
problems with USB connection (if you print from PC)
or
incomplete g-code file (can happen if you remove SD card too soon)
2) calibration - Calibration XYZ resetted your live z value so you need run V2calibration.gcode again (like David said).
Re: Printer freezes halfway and constant asking for calibrating
I have a similar problem.
My printer freezes also halfway during print, during calibration or simply during standby. I have to reset the printer and then I get the "is not calibrated" message. Often I calibrate the printer but the message reappears. Sometimes I get only white rectangles after resetting the printer.
The next thing is, that I cannot flash the printer, because the flashing tool crashes on "upload" (see attachment).

Re: Printer freezes halfway and constant asking for calibrating
Thanks for the responses
But i think the issue is solved so far
Fix that worked:
Asking for calibrations over and over agian -> Rerunning the Calibration XYZ and then V2calibration.gcode fixed the first issue
What is fixed so far, more testing needed:
The printer freezing during print -> Updating the firmware and re-uploaded some G-codes agian on the SD (Think i didnt removed the SD card savely)
But if things changes, ill post here agian
