Re: Print settings for Mk2 parts.
Successfully printed MK2 parts on MK2 printer from ABS on default 0.2 NORMAL Slic3r preset with following modifications:
3 perimeters
25% infill
first layer on 240°C HE, 105°C bed
next layers on 245°C HE, 110°C bed
Z-lift 0.25mm
material: orange ABS from Prusa3d (the same as original printers are made from)
Key prerequisite is absolutely perfect first layer. If you have it tuned, the result is perfect. No warping, no cracking, extremely solid, all dimensions accurate. Actually looks even better than original parts from kit. 😉
Beware, some STL models from github have errors, for example X-carriage. They must be repaired. I used Netfabb, its autorepair is sufficient.
Re: Print settings for Mk2 parts.
Did anyone found a place where the original gcode used by Prusa to print the genuine parts can be downloaded?
