Print fan too strong?
Hey Guys,
I just received my prusa but I am significant temperature drops on the extruder when the fan comes on. Do you know any solution to help prevent this without turning the fan speed down (witch I already did) (currently at 50%). It is better though, but I didn’t want to sacrifice cooling.
BTW. Does anyone here know what the sleep message means when printing from the raspberry pi?
Thanks in advance! 😀
Re: Print fan too strong?
There is a sleep message when printing from raspi? (octoprint?) I did not see that. owever I now have this gcode
M117 Octoprint running!
at the end of my printer start gcode in slic3r 😉
For your colling problem: I wrapped my heaterblock into kapton tape, just 3 layers, with a bit fiddeling carefully done in 10 Minutes. Helps a bunch!

Re: Print fan too strong?
To get rid of the sleep message I installed the DisplayProgress plugin and it shows the percent complete. If interested it is here... https://github.com/OctoPrint/OctoPrint-DisplayProgress
