New MK2S kit, will not start up
Hello all,
I just finished building out my MK2S kit. I diligently followed all the directions. Really took my time over a couple of days.
Afterwards, I plugged it in and turned on the power switch and no display. No motors are working...
I do see the red glow at the back of the PINDA probe.
When I push and hold, the LCD knob I do get a constant alarm.
Haven't left it plugged in long enough to warm the bed, I'm concerned something isn't right so I unplugged it.
When I removed the three fuses (one at a time) and looked at them in the light, I don't see a burn. Yes, I could run a circuit tester to see if they are blown.
I do have photos to share below.
Any ideas on how to get her started up?

Check the two flat ribbon cables going to the lcd and compare with this picture:

For some unknown to me reason, Prusa decided to have these reversed. Looking at your 2nd picture, i think you did it the "normal" way - which is wrong for the Prusa..

Indeed, ribbon cables appear to be incorrectly oriented.
Instructions section 8, step 18 say:
Make sure that the key of connector is matching the key on the electronics.
Might be more easily understood if they'd write:
Red stripe on ribbon cables goes to the end of the connector with pins marked 9 & 10.

It's working now. I got to play with a frog last night.
Dang frog ate up 1/2 a day LOL
I went back and looked at the manual, it does show the red line opposite of how I placed it.
My mistake but one that didn't do damage. Phew.
