Moving my Printer to Another Country

I'm moving for a year to another country that is not to far away but will have to go over a body of water to get there.
I'll only be there for a year and then back home, so what would be the best way to take my printer with me?

I can either box it myself or have the movers pack it.
Since the movers have most likely never seen a 3D printer, I'm thinking it's better if I do it.
So if I do, should I take it apart a little bit or leave it fully built? I received the printer as a kit so I don't have the boxing for those that got theirs completely assembled.

I'm thinking of getting a box and filling it popcorn/peanuts, or whatever they are called, and go from there.
Is there a place I can download the clips and pieces that keep the assembled pieces together, i.e. pulleys, etc.?

Any other ideas?

The printer will be going from Okinawa. Japan to South Korea. Not a huge distance but will either go by boat or plane.

Thanks for any help, insight.

Re: Moving my Printer to Another Country

Mine has traveled from Spain to Taiwan and back as two halves one stacked on top of the other with some padding (clothes) in between. First half was Y-axis and bed, second half the frame with Z and X axis.
