Re: MK3 coming!
Ordered my MK3 this week. First printer so i’m stoked!
Re: MK3 coming!
First I was mad as the MK3 was announced but now I'm happy to get the MK3 even cheaper 🙂
Even cheaper ? how? Price of the mk3 kit hasn't changed
cheaper only for me as I sold my MK2S Kit and made plus on it, plus the $100 voucher
Re: MK3 coming!
I ordered mine on 10/10 , this is my second printer, the first one is an Itopie 🙂
Re: MK3 coming!
So, I resisted bothering live support for as long as I could take it.... Others had said shipping in December, but they did not clarify whether shipping would begin in December, or their order was expected to ship in December. Not knowing when they ordered or whether the December quote was for their specific order or not made this user "update" a bit useless.
The answer that I just got from live support stated that they are still expecting to begin shipping in November. They just do not have an exact date yet. So, they have narrowed it down to a 30 day window for the time being at least.
I ordered on 09/25/2017 at 06:18:36. Fingers crossed for early Christmas!
Re: MK3 coming!
Hope its quick, i ordered mine 3 days after the mk3 pre order date.......
They took the money out of my account within seconds hope they deliver in the same manner, I wouldn't be at all happy if i havent got mine by the christmas holidays
Had to pay £80 shipping even though i'm based in Europe.... extortion

Theres no reason to be mad as you could have simply waited for it to start shipping before ordering 🙂 But I hear you, it's a tricky one, given the cost I'm sure most people prefer the money being subtracted when they order rather than being surprised at the deduction when it ships. Plus your also forgetting there are probably a lot of people in the queue, even before those who ordered on day one as a lot of people who were already in queue updated their orders to an MK3.
I dont think they are making any money off shipping if that's what you are alluding to, its a priority shipment and a pretty heavy box... Though I wish they had alternate courier option, UPS always dings me in brokerage/duty.

£80? I ordered a MK2S a months ago, and then when the MK3 was announced one of those and to the UK it was £20.
My MK2S has since been delivered and returned, and I cancelled the MK3 as they are "upgrading" my MK2S order to the MK3.. But I won't be entirly happy if shipping changes from £20 to £80.
Re: MK3 coming!
I am sure my upgrade delivery cost was £8 ish. Last night... where does £80 come from?.
Is that the Ryan Air cost to collect it yourself?
I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK
Re: MK3 coming!
Looking forward to that US hub I keep hearing about!
Would have been nice if there was a way to drop ship units into the country, then distribute!
I really wanted to add some FLEX selection of nozzles and other odds and ends to my order considering the shipping is already up there and could likely be minimized with the small additions included.
But the price is already maxed out at the ~$800 cap...
Seems this $800US limitation cap could be omitted, and shipping likely reduced? Expediency might take a bit of a hit however...
Re: MK3 coming!
It is officially November, or commonly known as International Prusa i3 MK3 month. Hopefully production is going smoothly! Can't wait!

US Hub would be very dangerous... to my bank account 😉
My very first order from Prusa cost $807 and I didn't get dinged with any extra taxes. This Mk3 actually had cheaper shipping than the first one (maybe due to 1 kg less from not including a roll of filament?). Anyways, I don't think the shipping counts on the $800 limit but I'm not sure. FYI, I printed some NinjaFlex yesterday with the default Flex settings in PrusaControl and it came out great on my Mk2... You can get some of that or MakerGeeks makes a NinjaFlex replacement if you really need 1KG roll of it. I bought the sampler pack of NinjaFlex. Its way more expensive per KG, but I use so little of it, I'm able to stock 5 colors for less than 1x 1kg roll costs.

Yes, it will!
Are there any updates on MK3 delivery schedule?
Re: MK3 coming!
is there any instructions on how to connect a pi zero w or any other pi to the einsy board?

I mean, all Pi:s should be connectable through a normal usb cable. But I'm guessing you're talking about the fancy soldering done to a pi zero w specifically? There was a, possibly unofficial, image posted somewhere here on the forum?
