MINTEMP

Hi guys,

According to docs, the printer won't work below 16C.
What is the reasoning behind it. I mean, what can happen at temperatures below that? Let's say at around 10C.

Re: MINTEMP

When you disconnect temperature sensors, Rambo mini reads something about 15°C. So everything under 18°C is considered error by security reasons.
The printer will work well in colder environment with proper filament types (e.g. not ABS), just make hotend a bit warmer using hair fan or hot air gun, then turn it on and preheat.

Ah, ok, good to hear that.

I have a suggestion then.
Could we add something like "Ignore MINTEMP for 1 minute" to RAMBO firmware?
Heating for a minute shouldn't do any harm OTOH one minute it would be enough to get rid of error and of hot air gun.
Or whatever other timespan as long as it works.
