Layer shifting-ish - odd problem

Hello!

I have a strange problem with my prints - sometimes (it has only happened 3 times in total, i have printed a lot of stuff). My printer seems to loose where it is in the print and continues somewhere else. This time (the white print) it moved it a bit to the left. In the skull case it moved it a bit backwards. The result is a bit .. strange.

I slice in slic3r (i use slic3r in both mac and windows) and upload the print to octoprint and print from there. My print hasn't moved on the bed at all. My belts are tight and the calibration is as far as i can tell in order. This has happened only 3 times. Most of my prints comes out very good.

I can't really see any logic to it.

Do anyone have any ideas?

First, check if motor pulleys on X or Y are not loosened.
If not, the hotend probably hit some warped part of printed object in that problematic overhang area, causing the stepper to stall and lose steps. Try hi-power mode, increase ZHop or rearrange the object to provide better cooling at problematic area.

I've seen this before on a different 3d printer. There was too much tension on my spool holder and every once in a while it would jerk the motor in a single axis.
