I've just built a Prusa i3 MK2
Hello All,
I've recently built a Prusa i3 MK2 never made a 3D printer before. Currently going through doing the SELF test before I can start calibrating. I'd kind of stuck. The X axis end does not seem to be hitting the extruder. I've tensioned the belt correctly and made sure there are no wires in the way it comes up on the SELF test as http://help.prusa3d.com/38907-self-test-error-messages/285798-end-stop-not-hitting . I honestly tried all that is mentioned in the self help guide. I've the switches seems to ok if you press it manual but the extruder just does not seem to touch it. Anything else I could try or adjust? I would be grateful for any help. Many Thanks

Hi,
If you push manually the extruder to the X end stop, you should not encouter blocking part and you should hear a "click".
Be sure your switch is not reverse : https://ibb.co/jUMRQG

Thank you for help sorted it all out seemed to be catching on a wire in the end. Passed the SELF TEST onto the calibration side now 🙂
Re: I've just built a Prusa i3 MK2
Does anyone have any built tips and tricks that would apply to the MK3, learned from the MK2/MK2S build?
Any good mk2/mk2S build videos that go over all the little issues and how to prep them for future reliability and better operation?
