Glass stuck to nylon!
😮 Unbelievable! After struggling to get nylon to print and not pull away from the glass which I use on top of Prusa bed I may have achieved the unimaginable. This part is roughly .75 x 1 inch when printed on the 2mm glass bed. While trying to remove it with a razor blade it actually stayed attached to the glass and separated/broke the glass from itself! Even after soaking the part in water for an hour most of the broken glass came off the part but believe it or not there is a very thin part of glass in this image remaining stuck to the nylon even after attempting to remove with another fresh razor blade and sanding. Elmers Glue All was used over and over again on the glass sheet with light damp wiping and very thin new layer of glue before each new print...I am up to about 95-98% success with nylon by creating my own small brims into part designs. 250 print temp, Bridge Nylon, 100 bed first layer and 65 after that. Who would ever think nylon would stick so well that the glass would give before the nylon/glue would give?
