First layer height is inconsistent across bed

I am struggling to get the print layer height to be perfect across the print bed. If I set it so that it is just right for the front of the bed, then the back of the bed has gaps between the layers.

I’ve attached a couple of photos to explain.

I’m wondering if this issue is causing the print quality to be poor as I am getting some rough surfaces, see second photo...

Re: First layer height is inconsistent across bed

Sounds like your z axis is not perpendicular on the x and y axis. The power supply box should act as support so make sure it is screwed in tightly.
It could also be that the bed isnt mounted correctly. Loose bearings ect.
If you have moved the printer you migjt want to recalibrate it. Do a full calibration from the printer menu.
Just my two cents.
