Failed XYZ Calibration

Hello everyone, I have just finished building my MK2S and everything was running smoothly until I performed the XYZ Calibration, which subsequently failed. It performed the first round which failed at #4 saying to consult the manual. I checked everything, adjusting the PINDA probe slightly lower using a cable tie and performed the test again. This time going through 3 iterations of the same 4 point calibration test, resulting in the same failure. After fiddlng with the y-axis angle and performing a z-axis calibration ( which worked perfectly) I tried again multiple times. Sometimes it only reached the four point test, other times getting to the end of the first 9-point test, but failing all the same.

Any help as to what I could be doing wrong would be greatly appreciated, this is my first 3d printer and I was expecting some hiccups but not to get halted completely.
Kind regards, Matthew

Re: Failed XYZ Calibration

Make sure the build is square.

By that I mean. Do a "home" This should leave the printer at 0.15mm over the front left corner. Take a photo like the one you posted. Manually move the head to the right. Same photo. Move the Y carriage to the other end. Photo left and right. The gap between the nozzle tip and the bed does not need to be exactly the same (that is what the XYZ cal is for) but if it is too out of skew, it will fail on the right or left sized. Adjust your build to make them more perpendicular.

Re: Failed XYZ Calibration

Thankyou for the very fast reply, Ill take a few photos to show, but just from looking the left hand side of the bed is quite a bit taller than the right, what will I need to adjust to fix this?

Re: Failed XYZ Calibration

I have re adjusted the x and y axis so that the nozzle remains relatively straight on all corners, however the failure is still occurring. The machine is running three iterations of the 4 point test? All other checks are working and I cannot for the life of me figure out what is happening????
Also the auto home is about 8mm away from where it should be, however I cannot move the y axis any further down as the power supply is screwed in, preventing me from moving it.

Re: Failed XYZ Calibration

Although it may just be the pictures and how they are taken but for me it seems, the complete z-axis is somewhat to low at the left side!?

Re: Failed XYZ Calibration

Hello.
On your photos I noticed that the aluminum frame on the left is on the table and on the right is in the air. Adjust frame !!

Re: Failed XYZ Calibration

Hello, I believe I fixed that issue of the height and the problem still persists, the height of the bed to the top of the frame is equal on both sides of the frame

Re: Failed XYZ Calibration

This is the probe at the auto home, I believe this is causing the problem, but I dont know how to fix it as the y axis cannot be moved back any further because of the power supply unit holding it in place

Re: Failed XYZ Calibration

That's okay. The center of the circle will only arrive when a proper xyz calibration is performed. Even I have these mistakes. Please reset the hard reset or run the wizard. If not, choose xyz calibration in the Calibration and then xyz calibration.

Re: Failed XYZ Calibration

Mainly calm. When you are just a beginner, such things happen to me as well.
Note the gap between the frame and the rear legs is 100 mm.
I apologize for my English, I am from Slovakia.

Re: Failed XYZ Calibration

Thankyou, I managed to adjust it properly, the psu was preventing me from doing so earlier, it seems to be doing better now. Now I just have to get through the first layer calibration. Hahah
