Extruder Calibration - Different lengths with the same settings

Hi guys,

Wondering if someone came across same problem. I am trying to calibrate the steps for a Real petg filament. I am sending the 100mm extrusion command to the printer, but I am getting different extrusion lengths without changing the steps . The extruder doesn't seem to skip or have any issue. I remember I had same issues with other filament. Wondering if someone knows where the issue can be.

Thanks

Are you switching to relative mode (M83) first?

Hi Peter,

Can you explain how to do that ?
Do I need to do it after every 100mm extrude, or just before starting the process ?
All I do is send , for example M92 E175 command and then extrude 100mm, and if is not right I make calculations and send the next M92 E176 , and then extrude 100mm again.

Thanks
