Does anyone elses bed wiggle a little bit on a slight rotation?

Does anyone else's bed wiggle a little bit on a slight rotation? I wonder if anyone else has that in their MK2s.

Daniel;

Have you inspected your bed carriage - bushings, cable ties, etc.?

The one reason I encountered a "bed wiggle" was due to a broken cable tie and a dislodged bushing (picture in link for details:
http://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/prusa-i3-kit-building-calibrating-first-print-main-f6/-solved-assembled-prusa-i3-mk2-calibration-point-n-t1462.html#p11284 ). This in turn caused an unstable 2-point (instead of a solid 3-point) mount along the Y-Axis, resulting in a "bed wiggle".

Assembled MK2.

Also, Y-rods have to be mounted at exact distance, otherwise the bearings don't sit in Y-carriage holes well regardless how tight the zip ties are.
AFAIK the right distance is exactly 170mm. Y-rods must be perfectly parallel and keep the same distance in all the way from front to rear side.

Sorry for that!
I know maybe its off topic but this question affecting every owner.

@ David

From where you have the measurement for the distance of the Y rods? It would be interesting if everyone nearly got this distances. I think there are many differences. My distance is 164mm on the inner side between the y rods. But my printer says that calibration is still fine and perpendicular. 😮

By "distance" I mean "center to center". The most accurate is to measure it on Y-carriage from the same side of bearing holes (left to left or right to right). I think it was 170mm, I hope my memory works well. See the image.
If your rods are not exactly in this distance, you can still get "perpendicular" result of calibration. The problem is that the bearings under bed are under constant tension and don't sit tight in their position.
In my opinion there is only one way how to find out.
Remove heatbed, leave only Y-carriage mounted. Remove Y-belt and zip ties. Y-carriage must move all way front to back on Y-rods and the bearings must sit in their holes without any effort to slip out.

Re: Does anyone elses bed wiggle a little bit on a slight rotation?

I've been working on some alignment sticks and was wondering if your perpendicular printer could give me some info: How far is it from one of the inside corners on the Y-Axis (from the front) to the Z-Frame? And is the distance on your printer from the Z-Frame to the inside back of one of the Y-axis corners 100mm as per the manual?

Dimensions PNG

and an 8 inch (200mm) or greater caliper is recommended.
