Boss gave me an i3 mk2

A boss of mine gave me this 3d printer and said get to work. I;ve only ever printed a few things out in my life but that was on a CEL Robox which I found easy to operate. They have it set up and working well (they have 3 other 3d printers) and now it is my turn to learn how to use it.

I'm a visual learner so I am looking for some good people to follow who can teach me how to use the i3 to its best abilities. Who and what sites do people recommend?

Thank you for your reply. Currently I am trying to understand slic3er that came with prusa. I;ve never used this so I need to find out more how to change it to use the material that I want. Any good first run through videos?

Re: Boss gave me an i3 mk2

if you have the Prusa version of slicer, it should be mostly set up to go, with setting already in there that you can take reference off a little bit of adjustment if you are using different filaments/ manufacturers etc , though most of the time it trial and error. change one setting and see what happens.

keep asking questions and rooting through youtube, or send a few pms my way... im no expert but i can try!

Thanks guys. Well I;m loving it so far. It is working really well. Having a cnc and a 3d printer at home is really ..... expensive lol. So many ideas and projects. Need to focus now. Thanks everyone. I will keep watching videos and asking questions I'm sure.
