Best way to push X-endstop to align probe in circles on x-axis?
Like several others with the MK2, my probe doesn't align on x-axis perfectly despite pushing endstop as far inward as possible:

"2) If the X carriage will not trigger the end stop, don't put anything on it to make it trigger, you will end up with probe outside the circles (BAD EXAMPLE HERE ). Loosen the X endstop screws, push the endstop inwards and tighten again."
For me the probe is right at the edge of the circle like between the second and third example.
Some people have resorted to drilling, gluing, taping pieces to push it out further:

"On our part, we had to add a little thickness of a few mm on the side of the X-Carriage to arrive to perfection. Maybe we printed an old version of the carriage? Who knows, but a little piece of double sided tape did the trick."
I would like to know the best way to push the endstop inward to get it perfectly aligned.
Re: Best way to push X-endstop to align probe in circles on x-axis?
I am having the same issue and not getting any help. I emailed Prusa support and have not heard a response. Posted pics of my issue and no feedback. I heard good things about Prusa support but I have a machine that will not print and cannot seem to be get any help.

I had this issue too. I upgraded to the firmware that was released yesterday and it is now within the circle.

With the new firmware I'm still at the edge and get great prints I just want it to be perfectly centered so was wondering what the official method is. 😀

I have already suggested to Josef Prusa it would be great to have the possibility of fine tuning X/Y autoprobe alignment by menu commands. If he likes it I hope it will be in one of next firmware releases.

I thin it's a very good idea!
If we can adjust the number of steps between the endstop and the 0, it will be perfect.
Mine was almost ok, the calibration passed, but I was I little off on the left axis, so I double tapped a piece of plastic on the X carriage.
It's better, and works well, but I would be even better if we could manually adjust it.
