Bed Adhesion Related

Hi Everybody,

I've been using the printer for about a year, but always had minor issues with small parts. Not all parts are sticking well to the bed. It feels like my bed is not completely flat and I had to lower the extruder head using Live Adjust Z slightly more to let the first layer stick across the entire area. Though this causes another problem. The models that start with separated small pieces easily get hit by the print nozzle and the piece eventually unsticks from the bed.

Usually clean the bed with Windex and alcohol.

Would appreciate some tips.

Thanks,
Ruben

Hi Ruben

I once in while clean off my bed with Acetone, this makes wonders to adhesion.
If you want to try out acetone make sure you dont buy this nailpoish remover, it contains oil.

+1 on acetone

Make sure you have your Z Height really tight. Well dialed in. ("Live Adjust Z - my way" thread.)

Some parts with small footprint need brim.
