Bad first layer and weird heatbed temperature curve
I'm getting this very bad first layer when trying out my new 0.25mm nozzle. I am using Slic3er prusa ed. with the printer profile for the 0.25mm nozzle, and the 0.1 mm layer height NORMAL 0.25mm nozzle. The material is PrimaSelect PLA.
It prints the layer ok-ish, but after 20 seconds or so after filament being deposited, it starts to break up.
I'm also seeing this weird hump in heatbed temperarure, where it spikes to over 63 degrees when the target temperature is 55 degrees.
What can have happened?
Re: Bad first layer and weird heatbed temperature curve
Hello Theodor!
Hard to tell from the picture - but could it be some foreign material that is on the build plate?
Do you here some popping sounds when extruding (water in the filament or air bubbles due to shifting diameter of filament)?

Isn't it the nozzle the drags the first layer around? It looks really close to me.
