PET Issues?

My preferred 3D filament material is PET. In fact, that's all I've printed during the past six months.

I'm hoping to use the MM Upgrade with PET, although I see in the FAQ that so far PET has been tested less than PLA, ABS and flex filaments. In fact, it is not yet supported.

Are there known issues with PETG?

Re: PET Issues?

Hi Pete,
my bad, I forgot to mention PETG as well in the testing process. As soon as I have more info, I will update FAQ.

Re: PET Issues?

Hi,
i´m currently printing the PLA "Chimera" gcode from the new driver package on 4x PETG - seems no problem at all, just bumped the temps from 215°C to 245°C.

Re: PET Issues?

I love PETG as well, was kind of shocked at how few profiles shipped with the MMU. Well, just wanted to say looking forward to it, I'll try the PLA settings with it, but I feel like it needs special treatment from PLA with all of its oozing and whatnot.
