MINTEMP BED/MAXTEMP Errors

I'm getting multiple failures of the printer - first one was thermal runaway, next MINTEMP BED, now MAXTEMP. I've checked connections to the controller board, hotend, etc. I'm getting very disillusioned with this printer, I get more print failures than successes.

Any ideas what is going wrong?

Regards,

Trevor

Re: MINTEMP BED/MAXTEMP Errors

Cable break at the heatbed or bad connection of the plug in the RAMBo box.

Cable breaks in general.

Thanks for the response.

Latest update. I've checked the connections to the Rambo board and they appear fine, pre-heat works properly with bed and hotend getting up to temperature. Managed to get the XYZ - calibration routine completed again and tried to print the calibration test print however what I'm seeing is the printer go through the pre-print calibration process, the head moves back to point 1 and then everything stops, screen shows 'Prusa i3 Mk2 Ready' and the bed and hotend start to cool down.
Tried a different set of gcodes and the same process happens.
Firmware is updated to latest version.

Re: MINTEMP BED/MAXTEMP Errors

Does it happen at a specific temp?
Had a similar problem and it seems was a couple of issues at once. Bed sensor was not working 100%, original bed PID was not ideal.
Cables used for the bed are not the best choice, switched to 16AWG silicone multistrand wire and also added a 6mm cork under the bed to keep the temp there. Last but not least this to me was happening on high bed temps. and it was 100% sure to happen if a minor ABS, Z-Ultrat part was printed close to the sensor position.
After the above changes i saw a brighter heat LED, faster temps on the bed and easier to maintain temp.
If i had to print small part i would choose some corner and also an enclosure.
