Issue with the MMU MUX board?

Hi all,

I've hit an issue a few times now where the MMU extruders get into a state where they seem to randomly (and often rapidly) switch direction. The first time I hit this was when I first assembled to MMU kit. At that time I re-seated all the RAMBO to MUX cables on each end and the issue went away. I assumed that I had connected one incorrectly and that now all was well. it printed well for a couple of months.

Then recently I hit the issue again, unfortunately in the middle of a long print. The extruder effectively became stuck because it would oscillate direction quickly. At first I thought the extruder was perhaps jammed, but after a bit more troubleshooting I solved it by re-seating just the five-pin connector cable on the MUX board (the one that apparently has power and control signals). The issue recurred once more shortly thereafter and I fixed it the same way.

It has been okay now for a few days (fingers crossed), but there seems to be some recurring problem there. Not sure if it is with the MUX board, connector, or something else. Has anyone seen anything similar? Is there a problem with my MUX board?
