First layer colour change?

Greetings….

Is there anyway to do this, within the first layer?  Or make it work using multiple layers that function as a first layer?  MMU2 MK3S+.

Thanks.

Why yes, yes there is…in your CAD simply divide the object into different parts according to the different colours you desire. Prusa slicer will see them as separate parts.  Now in your slicer select each part one at a time and assign them each their desired colour.  Yow will need to construct your STL in CAD in such a way that the upper layers you don’t want a colour change on are also a new part of the same print just on a higher Z (layer) with the desired colour selected in the Slicer.  It may be easier to do several layers rather than just the first layer but could still be the effect you’re looking for.
