Slic3r supports (or Simplify3D profile)
I use slic3r 1.40. For some reason it prints way more supports than necessary making the object unusable. Is there a way to manually place supports in slicr or have more control? (I tried all options btw). Think of a rectangle inside a wall. I know I need support under the rectangular hole, but it's building support from the bottom of the print to support the supports under the rectangle. I don't have support on build plate only checked. This is unusable as it's a small piece and I can't remove the supports properly.
Otherwise, is there a Simplify3d MK2s/MM profile available for download?
