My ABS Nightmare

I am trying to print generic ABS, without any success.

I used Prusa Control to generate my GCODE files, using Generic ABS settings, Normal quality, Standard infill.

Temps are 255 C and 100 C per i3 MK2s control. The machine was inside an enclosure.

The underside of the rectangular parts appear as thought the first layer was OK. The other part was a mess from the start.

Any suggestions on what's going wrong, and how to possibly remedy?

Re: My ABS Nightmare

Intralayer adhesion ... some people resort to enclosures for printing ABS - the enslosure helps maintain the temperature of the part during extrusion. ABS that cools too much doesn't stick to prior layers. So I have read.

Most likely your first layer is too high. ABS like to be squished on the first layer. You can also use any other adhesion enhancer (ABS slurry, glue stick ...)
As you already mentioned , you printed inside an enclosure. So it's essential to get the first layer right and to stick. Everything else should work straight forward.
