Replacing a damaged connector on the Extruder Fan
As the subject line suggests, I managed to damage the male connector on the end of my stock extruder fan during my last maintenance. The fan itself is fine, but after testing it with a power supply the connector is no longer able to provide a stable connection. Does anyone know a part number or model number for the connector type so I could see about ordering a new one? (Or ten.)
Failing that, what's the best way to go about ordering a new fan from Prusa? I bought my printer through a retailer in Canada that doesn't seem to sell individual printer parts.
Thanks for your time.
Re: Replacing a damaged connector on the Extruder Fan
Extruder fan is hotend (always on) fan? Or do you mean the larger part cooling fan in front?
And you are referring to a male connector (=pins), does that imply you damaged the pin on the RAMBO board?
Bit confused as my fans do not have a connector, they are hard wired, and the (female) connector directly plugs into the RAMBO board.
