Pinda is dead, maybe?
2 days ago I decided to update my printer to latest firmware. At first, for two printings I wasn't there to check, I just started the printing and then left. Then I noticed that when printing starts, sometimes probe is goes too much. Now, pinda's light is newer on. But when I try 'show end stoppers', and put a metal under the probe (around 1mm under it), it goes from 0 to 1. But sometimes, it changes byitself. I want to test, if it's because of firmware. Can I just connect the printer to pc and flash it to an older version of firmware?
RE: Pinda is dead, maybe?
Most likely the cable is broken somewhere where is the most movement and bending..
RE: Pinda is dead, maybe?
Same here: the cable of the PINDA Z axis probe is broken. When moving the cable I can randomly toggle the Z axis endstop. I'm very sure that the cable is broken close to the zip tie at the back of the extruder mount.
How can I get a replacement? Has someone a link to a KNOWN WORKING replacement spare part?
RE: Pinda is dead, maybe?
Update: The support helped me finding the right spare part: PINDA probe V1. I had to login into the shop to be able to search the spare parts!
In the meantime I just replaced the cable temporarily and it's working.
